Merseyside Police have confirmed today that a Scouser WAS arrested last night whilst attempting to enter Anfield via the Kop. The man was spotted acting suspiciously near the home end and was quickly confronted by Police who searched him and found he was in possession of an offensive accent. "Its true" A Merseyside police spokesman said "A Scouser was stopped just yards from Anfield stadium. However we would urge Liverpool fans to remain calm. This was an isolated incident and the chances of a Scouser actually making it inside the Stadium are extremely slim." Liverpool Football Club refused to comment but are believed to be highly embarrassed by the incident
