Just an inspired thought, was wondering what the regulations over here are regarding these kind of modifications. I want to find a place that does this kind of work, if anyone knows of anyone....

Convertible here all are 2 door..

Here almost all 'Sedan' are 4 doors.

Is it possible to have a 4 door Convertible ?

old style 4 door Civic, more than 10 years old, one red and one white here in Phuket. Looks great. Dont know how rigid the body is over potholes

here in Phuket many of the tuk tuks have great body work, and thats where I would start for a job like this. a friend has done some 2 doors Daihatsu, like 70-100k baht with soft top, paint and rims.

sure its not legal on a monocoque, but since no measures of car changes, hard to crack down on

I have a mad plan, so yes a 4 door, anyone can do a 2 door.....phish! lol..... Although the original concept was to weld the 2 rear doors shut for smoother lines. Still no concrete leads as yet.....

I know a great garage at ladprao, they did quite a few of those Nissan cefiro A32, removed the rear doors, and did quite a number of modification on the body. looks great, haven't seen them doing any convertible yet.

I think it isn't a problem with the land transport department, thai officials isn't that diff to deal with. it's more of those police road blocks u have to be worried about.
