I have just purchased a new condo and now have the title deeds and blue book.

The blue book does not contain my name although the title deeds to the property does have my name in Thai.

Is this the normal procedure that when a farang purchases a condo the blue book does not contain the name of the farang purchaser?

Advice would be appreciated.

This is normal. The blue book is the house registration for Thai citizens and permanent residents only.

As a foreigner you can apply for a yellow book at your local Amphur office...there is a pinned thread in the forum on the the topic of yellow books.
