Temporary closures of entry and exits of 3rd phase expressway

BANGKOK: -- An entry and three separate exit points of the third-phase expressway will be temporarily closed for surface improvements.

The Expressway and Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (ERTAT) announced today that the exit of the southern route (S1) of the third-phase expressway, called the Bangna-Artnarong Expressway, near the Bangna Intersection, would be closed on 11-12 August from 10:00 p.m.-04:00 a.m., while the exits in Phrakhanong and Samrong areas would be closed at the same period on 13 and 14 August respectively.

The entry in front of the Bangkok International Trade Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangna area would be closed at the same time on 15 August, said the announcement.

Signs have already been erected on the expressway to inform motorists of the closures.

Motorists could also call the ERTAT's 24-hour hotline centre at 1543 for information.
