Hi all

I am back to this question as it is unclear. In England now it is cheaper to use International Telephone cards to call Thailand. The phonecalls on the particular card I use are free phone and they do not show on the itemised bill from my telephone company. I am trying to reason with putting in all the cards collected, which is a hundred or so, however it seems crazy as they are just cards, not relevant numbers.

I do however have emails and some calls from a mobile number. The calls are only from the last few month, not the full petiod of meeting. Will this hinder my case?

Thanks for all listening to my bleeting, its all a puzzle I want to get right 1st time!

I too had the same problem, accept I never thought to save any phone cards. So all I done was made sure I stated this clearly in my Sponsership letter. Persumably the Embassy must know this is the case these days.

Good luck

Exactly! As Ben did, just write in your letter that you have no itemised bills because you used phone cards. I would also chuck in a few of the cards with the application just to back up the claim. Ultimately, the embassy would have to have a good reason to doubt your assertion that these cards had been used to contact your wife.

Scouse.

Hi Lopburiguy

Regarding the phone cards, I had a hundred or so when my GF was applying for settlement visa, I sent them all with the application to the Embassy as they were proof of 99% of my calls to her. There was no queiry regarding the phone cards during the interview process.

Hope this helps, best of luck.
