Motorbike Parking Phuket Airport

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

First of all a Happy 2011!

Soon i go BKK for a few days, is it safe/smart to park my scooter on the airport parking...?

(it`s not a brandnew flashy model)

Or any other idea where to park near the airport if it`s safer...?

Thanks,

Jan

I v parked my 300k baht Ninja650R there for a few days on occasions. Chain my full face helmet to seat/bike/rear wheel and never a problem

No, there are no taxi bikes at the airport. No hassle if you drive in on your own bike.

Seconded. I have also parked the Ninja there overnight. I chain it to a tree and cover it. Never a problem.

I parked there a few times while in Bangkok. Made the mistake by parking it under a tree. I returned a few days later and discovered it covered in birds shit. Anyway a lest I didn't have a hot bum. The motorbike park is on left near the ticket kiosk as you ender the airport car park to your left, and it is free parking. Never had any problems in the past.

As above, just park in the car park on the left as you pass the kiosk on entry. That's where the staff park, it's free and nobody will bother your bike unless your real unlucky.

Just buy a chain if your worried about it getting nicked. Chain it up like the filth do in Patong.
