Featured Replies

Should o if your phone supports 850 frequency, if not then you can't use the true 3g.

Does True use TOT, I thought they have their own network? I was hoping to continue using my TOT package in Hua Hin.

It's not for a phone, the sim is in a usb stick (which apparently supports GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900) and use it on the laptop only.

AIS having 3G in Hua Hin on 900 mhz, but its really crap, the speed is like 250-300 kbt, so its working more like EDGE in real time.

How is True's 3G service in Hua Hin?

Their coverage map indicates mainly along the coastal areas. Is it reliable within those areas?

As far as I am aware no 3G license's were issued in Thailand.

Just returned from a 3-day visit to Hua Hin, and on the third day, my mobile phone account got switched to True 3G, and the signal was strong, with good speed. One speedtest.net to Bangkok showed almost 2Mbps download.
