Ping Pong In Phuket Town Area

Featured Replies

hi,

i am looking for table tennis clubs, venues and experienced players to contact in and around the phuket town area for friendly matches..

Never heard of anything, but try dropping by the sports centre at Sapan Hin. If it's anywhere, my guess would be there.

It is a bit old news but you can try:

“The Phuket Table Tennis Club (Tel: 086-6862683) is based at Satree Phuket School, opposite Isuzu car gallery on Damrong Rd, Phuket City.

Other venues where you can play competitive table tennis are:

Plookpanya School, on Satun Rd, Phuket City. Tel: 076-212036, 076-218491.

Phuket Educational Area Office, on the corner of Mae Luan Rd and Yaowarat Rd in Phuket City. Tel: 076-211591.

Sports Authority of Thailand (Phuket office), Gymnasium 3 at Saphan Hin. Tel: 076-250110.

All places play from 4 pm to 8 pm Monday to Friday, except Satree Phuket School and Plookpanya School, which are closed during school holidays in October and from March to May.

However, it is advised to call and check before turning up to play at any of the venues as table tennis is very popular among students and there are often no spare tables on which to play.”
