Wife just came back from pui ban meeting in village,asked her what for.was told, sor bor kor can'nt be sold outside family as we all know ,but many thais have been buying and selling,but now must be a clamp down,also was told that tor bor har which we have and many others on this forum,that as from now u have to have 4 neighbors to sign paper with the pui ban to say that the land is yours.when buying or selling,my area shikui koart...courious to see have strictly they manage it,[a fase or not]

It would be a good thing if it became widely understood that buying and selling sor por kor land outside the family is too risky. It would stop a lot of pressure on falangs to pour money down a black hole of uncertainty.

They are farmland titles.

As "title deeds" go, a foreigner should have nothing to do with this land. They are possessory land rights at the local level and basically worthless if you are looking to build and register a house on the property.

They are farmland titles.

And long may they remain so. Although I've noticed many 'poachers' decimating the land up to and around Laem Promthep. ABHISSSSSSSITTTTT!
