Hi all, would like to let you know about an event being held in Chaing Rai for western University students. It seems like a good deal since it is free. All this information are found in the links.

Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Chiang Rai is hosting this.

Program duration:

The program takes two weeks between 7th and 20th February 2011.

Program Activities

(1). Thai Culture studies

· Thai language for beginner (Expression)

· Thai history

· Thai foods and dessert

· Thai boxing

· Northern Thai way of living

(2). Trip in Chiang Rai

· Hill tribe Village sightseeing

· Kantoke Dinner (Typical Northern Thai food)

· Golden Triangle tour

· Phu Chi Fah

· King’s mother botanical garden and Doi Tung Temple

· Nine historical temples

Number of students attended

5 – 10 students in any field of study

Remarks:

(1). Program activities are free of charge

(2). Free accommodation is arranged

(3). The airfares (overseas and domestic flights) are not provided.

The students have to pay for their flights
