Currently getting my missus stuff together for her to apply for her spouse visa for Oz.. I know we have to supply 2 stat decs from 2 people in Oz. But i was just wondering what they should write. Anyone got a rough guide of a stat dec? Or can give me some pointers? Cheers.

If you call the Immigration help line in Australia - early in the morning is the best, they will email you the wording for the document, they will also tell you what documents to download.

I put a link in another thread for the Guides and forms.

Of course what Immigration in Canberra say, is not always the act is interpreted here in Thailand.

Good luck, and remember a spouse visa can take up to 6 months.

Just Download it yourself and fill it out.

As mattnich said just download it from your NSW govt web site. Dosen't matter that the 2 stat decs have exactly the same text. I printed up 3 and just handed them to my friends for signature and certification.

Just use the Commonwealth Stat Dec Form under the Statutory Declarations Act 1959 as amended
