200-strong protest as Nongprue Permanent Secretary is ordered to move

PATTAYA: -- A protest was held outside the Nongprue Municipal Officers, east of Pattaya on Monday as news spread that the Permanent Secretary for Nongprue is being moved to another area without prior notice and for no apparent reason. Over 200 people, armed with red roses gathered in front of the offices and demanded answers. Khun Saksit, the Permanent Secretary, soon appeared and thanked everyone for their support during his 20 years in office.
