I bought a new Honda CRV about 3 1/2 years ago and it now has around 62,000 km on it and the original tires. I was going to replace them but they still look pretty good. I know driving conditions will make a difference in tread wear but how many km do you usually get from a set of tires?

Totally depend on driving style and brand. Sounds like it's the original tires in your case and they should do a bit more than 62,000 km if you need that. On the other hand, they were lower quality already from the beginning, louder than a good quality brand and have also become a bit harder (still).

They can probably do 100,000 km, I wouldn't necessarily use them that long myself

I also managed about 65k on the original Bridgestone's on my new CRV, just replaced them with the same product but told to expect only 40k, who knows.

I change my tires every 2 - 3 years regardless of mileage.

Eventhough the threads may not be worn the lifetime of the rubber has its limits and they become harder during their lifetime.

I got 120k on factory tires,Mitsu pick-up.

Wow, you must have been '' flying '' most of the time. :D

Well... I got 190k on my old Ford, the truck was absolutely knackered at that point but the tyres were just like new! :)
