Extending Visa In Samui

Featured Replies

I have a triple entry tourist visa, so I get 2 months +1 month extension and then have to go out and in.... 3 times in a row. I am on my 3rd set of 60 days and need to go extend for my remaining month soon. I live in Koh Phangan and heard there is an office in Nathorn (on Koh Samui).... will they give me the full month extension there or do I have to go to Bangkok for it? Someone told me they only give 15 days in Samui and that would seriously mess up my plans... Thanks for any info...

come on people, the name of this forum is Thai Visa isn't it? doesn't anyone know anything about the immigration office in Samui?

Well it might be best to check with them.

But when I got my 30 day extension, that's what I got 30 days.....not 15 days. And none of our lot have ever had any problems there so whoever told you about the 15 days was most likely wrong!

I dont' know about the office in Nathon, though, I'm afraid. If nothing else, you can just take the day trip to Ranong - about 2K THB from Samui (probably have one from Pagngan as well) You'll get 30 days after the 60 day'er is used up.

hi....

you can get an extension at he immigration office in nathon- you can ask for the 30 daysyou need but it is up to the officers on duty at the time what they want to give you,it costs 1,900 baht.

or yes you can do a border bounce to ranong which will cost about 1,500 baht there you will be sure to get 30 days but will have a long days trip!!

its up to you??

call the immigration first in nathon and ask!!youll find the number in some info book..
