True Internet Tot Line

Featured Replies

I live in On nut and recently managed to get a True internet 10/1mb connection - works pretty well.

However I seem to have ended up with a TOT line. First I knew about it was getting the first monthly bill. True didn't say anything about it - just said I wouldn't be able to use apartment landline. This seems to go against what I learnt about what was possible in terms of internet lines. If this is really the case it might be of interest to others - or does anyone with more knowledge of such arrangements think some kind of admin error has been made?

You didn't say whether you have cable or DSL internet from True...

If you have DSL internet, then in this area it is delivered via a TOT landline, though actually True handles the billing for that... So you'll get two separate bills each month, one from TOT/True for about 107 baht per month for the landline, and the other from True Online for the DSL service.

If you have cable internet, then there's no phone line requirement involved.

Thanks. Yes your right Its the DSL. One bill from TOT 107 a month + one from True.

The TRUE and TOT telephone bills look almost identical in the letterhead.

What is the phone number?

example: 02-x..-..-.. x=2,3,4 or 5 is a TOT line, x=6,7,8, or 9 is a TRUE line.

TOT has handled all true phone line billing for a number of years now but ADSL will be directly billed by TRUE.
