Figure about 280% of the asset value of the car and Customs does the assessing. Don't do it.

I was thinking of doing the same thing in the past, i know people have done it but it gets very expensive due to the tax laws here.

It's been done to death. Just do a search and you will find loads of posts. The general consensus is it just isn't worth the money or the hassle.
