Month-Long Accomadation

Featured Replies

Hi there, a friend of mine is going to Chiangmai for a month-long stay, he is looking for a hotel with free wi-fi in room at less than 10,000 baht a month...he prefers hotel than an apartment so as not to pay for water/electricity and deposits..

Any recommedation is appreciated...thanks.

Smith Residence, south of Chiang Mai gate, has good reviews. You'd need to make a deal on staying for a month and not having to pay 3 months up front though. Should be possible...

Not sure why you're specifying 'free wifi'. Even if the wifi isn't free, its only likely to set you back a few hundred Baht, as in the case above.

If he is really trying to get cheap accom' there is a small guest house named

"Huen Panicha" on Loi Kroh Soi 2. (Right in the middle of things)

I go past it most days as I don't live far away.

I see a lot of long term people there as there is a seating area outside. There is wifi there and monthy I think is only about 4.5 k and no bills to pay.

I did see one draw back though (Shared bathrooms!)

Plenty of guest houses around for under 10,000B/month and many have wifi, though the speed and reliability of the connection may vary.

Here is one I know of. http://lannamoon.com

Royal Shilton Residence near Wat Jed Yod. 4500/mo. You pay 300 for wifi, water and electric costs about 350. New construction.
