Pattaya’s first St Patrick’s Day Parade announced

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya will be holding its first St. Patrick’s Day parade on 17th March. At a press conference on Thursday at the Father Ray Foundation, the parade was announced to the gathered media who were told that the parade will take place along Pattaya Beach Road and the money raised at the event will go to the Fountain of Life and Father Ray Foundation. With a strong Irish ex-pat community and an abundance of Irish-themed bars around Pattaya, organizers believe the time is right to organize the event which will mirror similar parades in cities such as Dublin, New York, Belfast, London and Sydney.

I seem to remember something on another forum about there being a Guinness shortage in Thailand at the moment ?

You can't have a St Patrick's day without Guinness,it's against the law surely ?

Hope it goes well as the Father Ray Foundation deserves all the help it can get.
