Connecting To The Internet In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi

I have an apartment in Bangkok. There is not direct phone line, so i have been using an internet cafe to get onto the net.

I would like setup a computer in my apartment and connect to the net.

Could someone please recomend the best course of action?

get a phone line (about 700B per month) and connect to ADSL, or normal connection

or

Ger a wireless ADSL connection

I am currently out of the country and am not sure on prices etc. I have done a search, but can't seem to find much info that I can understand. I am not even usre if wireless is that popular in Bangkok yet, but do remember seeing some signs etc in shops while i was there.

any help would be appreciated.

Bankei

For now getting the phone line is probably the most viable solution. 100 B/month for the line and about 600 B /mth for the ADSL.

Cheers!
