SanjayJamad Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Hi, what is the cooking gas price per cylinder 13.5 kg. and 16.5 kg. in bangkok And delievery charges, which is excluded. and is there is any VAT ? because the invoice we get is just a invoice slip without VAT
gpdjohn Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Don't know where your located in BKK..but my SIL does gas and charges 295 Baht for a 16.5 kg. Picnic size ( 5kg) 120 Baht. No delivery charges, no tax. ( if it's a personal business they pay no tax..like a mooban shop, etc... according to my wife, who knows everything, just ask her ) Located in BangSue. If it's close, let me know and I'll PM you her number.

rishi Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 As for the VAT-part of the question: Only entities with an annual turnover of minimum 1.8 M Baht (as of 2009) are required to be VAT-registered, so if the provider is a small guy - no VAT collected nor paid. Whether such a thing as cooking gas would be VAT-exempted in any case, is a different issue.
SanjayJamad Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 i live in Rama III area, they charge here 298+20 total 318 or 320 Baht for both sizes either13.5 or 16.5kg. for non VAT simple bill slip. they have same price for bigger and smaller. they don't have any answer for that, how can be price same.
ThaidDown Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Last time I got one it was exactly 300 (delivered) . That is for 15Kg of gas. On a ptt tank value of 16.5 or similar figure printed/painted on the tank is the tare weight ie the weight of the empty container. Not all tanks are exactly the same . A full tank would weigh 31+ kg.
