Re-entry On 90 Day Visa

Featured Replies

After entering on a 90 visa is it possible to get some sort of re-entry permit if you want to leave the country within 30 days or so.... so you dont automatically get stamped with 90 days again - thereby wasting some of your allowance?

Thanks

There is no "allowance"... on a multi-entry Non-O, you can enter as many times as you want, and no matter what the last entry has to be before the visa expires. This date is one year after the visa was issued, and has nothing to do with when entry was first made. On the last entry, you will get stamped for another 90 day permission to stay.

If you wish to leave and reenter during that 90 day period _after_ the multi-entry Non-O expired, I believe you can get a reentry permit. This permit will allow entry during that 90 day period but will not extend the period any longer.
