ExpatOilWorker Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 At least there is now free WI-FI at the airport, but you have to get a password at the Information counter and all you get is 15 min. A bit on the cheap side for an International airport.
topt Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I tried to use this a week ago when I discovered my flight was delayed but could not get it to connect at all. Laptop had worked fine in one of the lounges 20 minutes before so perhaps a temporary glitch?

I also thought 15 minutes was a bit mean (but better than nothing) and wondered if it was just a hook to get you to pay for the premium access?

tombkk Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 AOT really needs to learn from other airports, such as PNH, KUL, VIE and a myriad of others that provide free wifi. It has become an issue for business travellers to rate the airport as well as choose their route.
