Spare Parts In Thailand

Featured Replies

I needed to buy a piece for the intake on my Isuzu -09 at the dealer in Udon. They did not have it in stock. In fact they did not have any parts in stock. But they could order it if I paid a downpayment, about 30%.

In Europe if I needed something for my car or truck, I went to the dealer and bought it. Period. Unless it were a very rare part, they had it in stock. And if not, they ordered it without any demands for downpayment.

Happens all the time with our Toyota and Honda dealerships. Not a huge issue if you're okay with waiting a day or two. It's not like you need to leave your car there to wait for the spare part if you don't have another backup automobile. Just bring it in when the parts get there.
