Again the poll DIRECTLY refers to the content in the thread noted in the OP. That article was CLEARLY about sexpats who HATE Thaksin. Hate AND fear. I didn't make this up. Don't blame me. I don't mind criticism but I do mind criticism without merit made by people who probably didn't even bother to READ the article this poll is inspired by!

BTW, I truly hope the "author" of that specious Thaksin sexpat hate article who also shamelessly dissed this website reads the RESULTS of this poll.

I think the poll results are quite clear; 2 sexpats versus 37 (ordinary) expats that hate Thaksin.

That would imply (if repondants answered truthfully ) that either there are very few sexpats that hate Thaksin, unlike what the other article was trying to portray, or there are very few sexpats posting on this board.

Am I missing something here?

Missing in the poll are the options:

I am a sexpat and I like Thaksin

and

I am not a monkey and I eat bananas.

Unfortunately the main reason is because he is a lot less smarter.

If you reread the thread you will see that the post I was replying to was a comment about the CURRENT prime minister. As far as I am aware, Abhisit does not have a criminal record and is allowed to live in Thailand.

If you believe the author of the original article, it's not that big an achievement

Well I'm willing to bet he is financially more successful than anybody who posts here, better educated than most, and I'm pretty sure that no members of this forum have held a similar position in government as he currently holds (or any position in government for that matter). On those counts I would say he has done fairly well.
