Hang on you guys.... you've got to consider that I was raised in Geelong... the home of Ford... my brother still works there and can get all his family members a 20% discount on any new model... where would your loyalties lie?

Be truthful now...

My last car in Oz was a fully optioned XR8... 250KW of grunt under the bonnet...

I miss those days....

Now driving a Ford Laser Tierra RS... 2 litres instead of 5...

But....

It is a Ford!!!

That's cause we rig it! ...It might also have something to do with his driving style etc....he ain't exactly the cool calm type of guy like Ambrose...more of a seat of your pants adrenalin type,but when he's on and the car performs he will always finish well. Pedel to the metal all the way.

My brother has recently bought a SS Comodore. I don't know how he still has a license. Here's part of an email he sent me last week:

I had an electronic/dyno car tune done yesterday. It's f%$#ing awesome. It'll spin both rear tyres on the 1-2 gear change at anything over about 3/4 throttle (this is an auto remember). Before I had the work done on it yesterday it ran a 13.9 sec quarter at Eastern Creek. A group of us from work are taking our cars down the quater next Wednesday night after work, I'm interested to see what difference it makes. After the tune it mad an extra 30 kW at the rear wheels, but more importantly it increased torque by an average 70 NM from 1500 to 6000 revs. It's now making more torque and power than a 300 kW HSV GTS.
