I go to Chiang Mai

Hell of a way to go from Pattaya for a couple of mangoes.

Thai fruits, the local market.

Imported fruits, the supermarket, mostly Foodland.

the local market. each day of the week a different Village has a market so depends on day as to which market... On Saturday Bananas form the old lady that comes around the Village with a hand cart she cut them down early from the banana trees on her land, cannot get fresher than that.

In season often from a table on the side of the road, fruit/veg whatever the seller is growing. Fresh and very cheap... No shop, no middle men + picked/cut same day
