It's about 340 kilos, doesn't matter what you drive it's your average speed, just over 4 hours at a steady 80 kph plus the time you stop of course.

I have driven this section of road a number of times on my way to/from Rayong.

Under normal conditions and not 'hammering' it - I allow 0ne hour Kampaeng Phet to Tak. Two hours Tak to Lampang and finally an hour from Lampang to Chiang Mai.

But the road condition (STILL) between Kampaeng Phet and Tak is in bad shape (in fact between Nakhon Sawan and Tak also). Although there were major roadwork improvements Tak-Lampang these caused contra-flow driving.

Spot on no more than 4 hour's with a stop, KPP to Tak still not good road condition's like wise for the first 10km past Tak but after that not to bad most of the road work's finished as of two week's ago. Have a safe trip.
