1. Lets say i want to open up a

Internet Cafe

Computer repair/Webdesign/IT consultant

Motorbike rental

Tourist Guide

Laundry service

All operating out of the same shop.

Can i then have one company wich covers all these buisness areas, or do i have to have one company for each buisness area?

sure u can :)

per 'default' a new thai company is listed to be able to do business in 'all' areas, but best be sure to only list the ones u need as to not list any restricted (foreigner excluded) areas such as real estate etc etc.

When you open a company, you will have to declare the purpose of the company. A company can have up to 40 purposes.

Ours has 45.

So it's even more relaxed now.

A company can have unlimited objectives (purposes) but the establishment process could take longer as the officer would need to read and understand each objective one by one. During the establishment process the officer would want to know which objectives or purposes that you would be performing currently.

VAT objectives can also have more than one, but it must be current actual business operations that take place now, the objective cannot be established for something you plan to do in the future as with company objectives.
