I have 3 23" LED screens and want to connect them to my ASUS HD 6970 2 GB GPU, using Eyefinity, but I need an Active Display Adaptor, and they are nowhere to be found!

Tried Panthip, all of them... - Fortune, small obscure shops, nobody has the Active Adaptor.

A salesperson in Panthip sold me a passive adaptor and said it would be OK - 950 THB - but it does not work!

Should have Googled that before I paid, because when trying to get my money back, I got only smiles...

Where can I get an "Active Display to DVI Adaptor" - in Bangkok??

I had the same problem, everyone has passive units.

Finally got one off eBay from seller simplyparts2010 eBay item number 290542957290 cost 28.95 plus 6.95 postage to Thailand (EDIT just checked that the item number still works, he's put postage up to 8.95, evidently lost out on my unit).

It's a Dell badged Accell B087B-002B, works fine.

PS: If anyone is in need of:

1. A passive DP > DVI adaptor

2. A HDMI > DVI cable

3. A handful of VGA cables

- send me a message!

I am currently trying to run eyefinity and have three LED monitors. My main is Samsung 27 inch and my sides are Samsung 23 inch. Win 7 64 ATI RADEON 6700 series

I have been having problems with windows reconfiguring my resolution and then not being able to save as it says i cant. Even when i try to overide in catalyst cc it reverts. I am using an active display port to dvi converter. Dvi cable then turns to a hdmi cable. Will this give me problems? DVI and hdmi are both digital so should work, right? Any help would be appreciated and if this is not the right thread please send me in the right direction. Thanks!

Oh and they have active display port to dvi converters at tuckom for 1000 baht.

Are you certain you have an active adaptor?

IIRC (it was a while back) what you are seeing is very similar to the issues I was having with a passive adaptor.

The adaptor I got off eBay is now about 3000 Baht (GBP 59.95).

  1. Main = video port active to DVI to HDMI monitor
  2. Left = DVI converter to HDMI monitor
  3. Right= HDMI to monitor

Ok .so i moved my video port connection to the main monitor and it seem to be working.Although one monitor is not being detected properly and is not allowing for a higher resolution but i can still get the effect. One of my adapters was not active. Video port to HDMI FAIL

Yes the video port to dvi adapter is active and is 1000 baht at Banana IT, ask for Khun Kong.

Another question if i may? I have the 6700 ATI Radeon graphics card and am only getting around 30 fps with medium setting on WOT, if i get another one will it be twice as fast? I am also overclocking through the catalyst control centers automatic settings.
