Early Morning Breakfast Options

Are there any places (besides 7-11) that are open before 7 am to have breakfast?

Surprisingly few. There is a place across from CMU that I have heard about but never been to. I'll find out the name and exact location and post it. I understand that they are open earlier than most (7:00 AM).

One morning I was out of coffee and tried to find a place to have a cup at about 7:30. No luck.

In San Sai I have yet to find any breakfast places open before mid-morning. For instance, Kelly's doesn't open until 9:00 AM. I don't understand it.

Chang Klan road, you can get Kao man Gai across from the Hospital, there are also a few shops behind the 7/11 that have Thaifood that open around 6AM.

There are a few shops that sell boiled rice khao tohm.

I believe that JJ Bakery is open at 7 or even a bit earlier. There is still one location that has not closed. It's located east of the railroad station, just before the Super Highway, on the north side of the street. JJ Bakery and Restaurant on Wikimapia

Try joke congee at near Ton Payom market, they should have food ready at 5 am. Thai style breakfast.

Well at the risk of stating the obvious McDonald's and Burger King in the Night Bazaar are open 24 hours and I believe McDonald s will deliver.

The Art Cafe opens at 8:00 AM. Great breakfasts and, IMHO, worth waiting an extra hour or two until it opens for the mango pancakes. http://www.artcafechiangmai.com/

The Boat across from the University is open early Im prety sure before 7 am

Loads of places are open around that time.. Specifically near all of the markets in town.

Nice Kitchen (MoonMuang Soi 6 Behind Sompet Market) is open from about 6:30am. GREAT breakfasts
