Scam English Company / Thai Owners That Never Pay

I am not to give company details so i will make this clean

i got a job 6 days ago with a thai owned company { i know what a prat !! }

my job was in NAKHON NAYOK really nice school for a change teachers were great kids nice and polite

along with this great place, came the deposit for the room rental of my room for the first month paid in full and then 40% after.

well this was great ! so i moved upto the place, they took my gear and myself there free { WOW }

i asked the owners an hour before we left !!! is every thing sorted out and paid with the room { THEY REPLY YES !!!! } BS

when we get there with there driver the owner of the resort started talking about rent { strange }

next thing i know about this the boss calls me and ask me to lend this driver 4k so he could pay for the room { MY REPLY WELL YOU COULD PUT A LOT OF F'S AND B'S IN THIS PART }

LONG AND SHORT THEY OWE MONEY TO MYSELF FOR WORKING AT THIS SCHOOL

I asked about this money and told them i will go to the ministry of edu and report what they had done to myself and 3 other people all farang

the other 2 farang they left at the resort no money no rent no work once the company had took the money from the school

once i told them i will pop into the ministry

there reply WE WILL STOP YOU AT IMIGRATION

SO CAN YOU BEAT THESE PEOPLE ???

or do you think it's better to scam a couple of there company's back and leave there mobile number as contact details to collect payment ???

the other thing that is really crap the husband is involved with thai politics and one of there party's and he has been ask to do a project on anti corruption { WHAT A JOKE } START AS YOU MEAN TO GO ON

so should i report them to the ministry and get screwed by imigration as his good wife told me i would

or let it pass

Not sure I follow this story, but no, in this situation you can't win and should simply move on. Name-and-shame has been tried before on 'teflwatch' but the site was shut down. Disgruntled teachers just abused the system by creating multiple accounts and ranting with themselves.

when they do things wrong well the old saying comes to mind

If the company owes you money for work you have completed, then it might be worth your time to go to the Ministry of Labor with a complaint.

As far as the room and the rent goes, this gets a little murky. Some companies will pay up front for accommodation; some will reimburse you for accommodation.

yes work was done its not alot but just want teachers to know out there

that these people are there and they do intend to scam as much as they can

That's not my experience. For cultural and legal reasons Thais will very very rarely call anyone a name in public. If they do, it reflects very badly on the speaker.

It seems your complaint is that you were expected to pay for your own accommodation. I don't see the problem.

From your OP you said you swore at the director. You have a lot to learn about living here successfully and getting things done.

It's had to know what to say about this without more details. For instance, did the company promise to pay for your accommodations? If they did & then did not follow up, you have a valid complaint. Also, you mention a resort, was this an English Camp arrangement? If so, you should not have had to pay anything. If this was just a normal job, however, teachers are normally paid at the end of the month and are responsible for their own accommodation costs.
