Beach Volleyball In Koh Samui

Just wondering if anyone knows where in the Northern/Eastern beaches of Koh Samui does one have the best chances of finding a game of beach volleyball being played? Especially in the low season from June to November.

I see it regularly on Chaweng beach but think you may need to be a ladyboy to join in!

Yep, OP bungalows on Chaweng beach. But can confirm that being a ladyboy is not mandatory.

my friends play at op on a regular basis and none of them are ladyboys or else they've done a great job of keeping a secret haha

Meanam beach, pass santiburi and turn to beach side (follow the soi to a reggae bar the only one on the beach).Use to play every day at 4pm if were enough players on low seasons..

If you are really ambitious there is a two man tournament every month a day or two before the full moon party at Hadrin Beach (East side). Some pretty good teams and prize money. Often have informal games there the rest of the month of you want an excursion.

There used to be daily twilight pickup games in front (but not exactly in front) of Bikini Bar on Lamai Beach. Apparently, there was a dispute about where people wandering by ought to be buying their beverages -- Bikini Bar or the bamboo shack right next to it.

It was a nice little diversion and if someone were to somehow mediate this problem, you could have your volleyball back there. Have a go....
