Ais Dongle Top Up

Featured Replies

Took a package at airport that thought would be suitable which was the unlimited Edge/GPRS package.

With hindsight the 250 hours would have sufficed for month-just with the unlimited can leave UK Radio 2 on indefinately....

Whatever when the first month expires I assume that I put AIS Sim back in unlocked mobile add whatever 250 hours is (550 baht ??)and activate the package.

Assuming thats correct as it was 3 year ago what number do I dial to hear package costs/activate etc.

Thanks

Packages renew automagically assuming you have enough money. Don't forget to add the 7% VAT to the 55 baht. Typically they send you an SMS reminding you of the upcoming renewal.

You can check balance/expiry: *121# You can check data: *139#

You can check/change plans using eServices, you can top-up using a number of options: scratch card, ATM, 7-11 http://www.ais.co.th/12call/en/topup.html

Thank you for your help-appreciated.

I have AIS EDGE GPRS limited to 60 hours/month for 149 baht/month.

They swore to me you cannot prepay, and that's correct. But you can (if you insist) put any amount of cash into the AIS account, and they just deduct the 149 baht each month. Now, that sounds a lot like Pre-pay, i.e. you are prepaying months in advance. But it isn't in their mind.

So put plenty of cash in the account, and they will delete each month automatically.
