Soft Launch Today Of CAT's 3G Service

Meanwhile, in Cambodia, the 4G network is already under construction and set to be unveiled soon.

It seems that Cambodia is going ahead of Thailand and Laos.

Is it a WiMax based service? What is the operating frequency?

What kind of user terminals will be used?

Please let me correct that for you.........EVERY country in the world is currently going ahead of Thailand when it concerns telecomunications.

I am not sure how many people can afford new 4G handsets or Mifi devices in Cambodia!

I can! And I can use my Thai DTAC sim in Cambo (and Singapore and everywhere I was last month) on 3G on roaming when I can't use it in Thailand (and unlikely to be able to use it in the future because of Thai greed and corruption).

Ironically greed and corruption are probably the reasons Cambodia is soon about to unveil a 4G network but that's another story.
