Many VPN websites are blocked in Thailand, also the one from Hidemyass.com, but you can get it, I used this one for half year now. You can send them an email for a free 3 day trial without any obligations or risks via info(at)hidemyass.com (tell them you are in Thailand so they know which download link to send you) HMA no need any setup, after you downloaded it it works, switch on/off in a second, change country random or one of your choice with a click etc. Can recommend it. Great guys there at HMA. Image of their website here.

Thanks for your reply, emailed them, waiting to hear back. Pity their website is blocked.

Would love to be able to do this as well. I have used Witopia but was unable to access shows from Australia.

One suggestion would be www.diwana.org Have used them many times and very good quality shows and d/l's.

bbc-player.com uses Tor and wonks really well.

there is another version on myp2pforums that also streams something like 67 US tv channels. Both work well enough to plug into a large TV and watch as you normally would.

Expatshield is a free VPN, it allows you to watch BBCiPlayer, but it stops and starts dependent on your internet connection speed.

I use torrents - good movies 1337x.org (find users NOIR or FXG)

or Ahashare (user StylishSalH).

For Top Gear or Match of the Day I use piratebay.org, (not .com) and download from user eztv (Top Gear) and Albiondean (match of the day).

Yes will second Expatshield (who's url I got from this forum).

Speed dependant obviously but if fast enough works well. Can listen to BBC Radio 2 all day long if required plus international news up todate.

You can listen to BBC Radio without the need for any other VPN, Proxy, the only thing you cannot listen to is live sporting events on 5 live but anything else is fine

the best way to watch TV, be ir USA or UK is to download from newsgoups.

bintube is a very good newsgroup server company .. i dload at full speed on a 5mb line .. there speed is as good as giganews at a fraction of the cost (i've tried astraweb, giganews and many others and bintube are fast)

thye also offer a free client that enables you to watch live as you download stream makign it easy for people who do not understand nzb's and par's

the best way to use this is with a newsgroup index site such as nzbmatrix . you just type the program name or film name and it presents you with a nice list and you just click the relavent program.

torrents are great but newsgroups are better. the main difference being on a torrent you are downloading from other people and then sharing what you download.. on newsgroups you ftech direct from a server with no return upload.
