What about transfer funds abroad, no restrictions?

I have had no issue transferring up to around 500,000 abroad to an account in my name, I think the maximum I moved was a bit above that.

BUT, as in all cases, the ONLY way to find out is to go to your bank and ask them. You can ask in TV until you are blue in the face and get maybe five different answers, but the ONLY real way is to walk into the bank and ask to transfer the money out.

Having a good relationship with the local bank manger helps a lot too, and so does being polite and asking if there any possible alternatives if you hit a problem.
