Thanks , the included websites are very helpful . i am sure jaymart will have a vat refund policy , however i doubt the other shops in MBK which are showing cheaper prices will have a vat refund policy.

There have been some recent posts re: VAT refunds. I vaguely recall shops like Powerbuy, TGfone, Jaymart being mentioned as offering the VAT refund paperwork. Maybe search this sub-forum for "VAT refund" to get a more accurate read on this issue?

I think it's safe to assume that the wholesale box-shops in MBK and elsewhere would not offer the VAT refund as they are discounting the phone and are on pretty thin margins. (These shops are easy to spot; stacked floor-to-ceiling with boxes, a large crowd milling about. These are also where the counter shops go for product during/closing a sale.) While the major retail outlets would likely offer the VAT refund.
