Need Another Smartphone

Hello I will be in Bangkok for the next six months. So far I'm loving it but I want to get a cell phone here. I lost my other one.

I was hoping someone could help me find a phone with these features. (Otherwise tell me which board in the forum is the best place to ask).

3G internet

tethering

talk & text

translator

map

compass

and a camera

Right now I'm browsing craiglist and have found a few good deals, I don't mind buying secondhand, I was just hoping someone could maybe give me some advice.

If you are a girl, you probably like iPhone, if you are a guy, more likely an Android phone (HTC, Samsung).

I suggest you go have a look at MBK for new or second hand deals.

New phone come almost daily, but right now the Samsung Galaxy S2 seems to top the list and can do everything you need. Perhaps a used HTC Desire or HTC Desire HD will also do.

About 3G here in Thailand... well... don't expect too much.
