Phone Challenged

Featured Replies

Hello All,

My phone got wet under torrential rain, need to get a new one.

I just need to call and send texts, (I don't have the urge to tell Facebook I'm in the queue at Tesco), but don't want to look like a social outcast with a prehistoric phone either.

I will get a second hand one .

Can someone advise me for models?

Cheers

Don't be a tightarse. You can get a brand new phone that does what you want for under B1000

Im not being a tight arse, I don't want to produce more E waste than it is, just because marketing say so.

I try to buy everything recycled first ...and for phone, it's just silly to buy new ones, they release a new one every second, the minute you bought it, it has lost a lot of its value.

Highly recommend you don't tell any Thai below the age of 40 that they shouldn't buy the latest and greatest cell phone as they will probably beat you up. I've always wondered what would happen in Thailand if none of the cell phones worked for 24 hours....we would probably have ten of thousands of people committing suicide, rioting in the streets and rice fields, etc. The horror!!!!
