Border Clash Kills Cambodian Soldier, Tensions Rise with Thailand
A Cambodian soldier has been killed in a deadly border clash with Thai forces in Preah Vihear province, the Ministry of National Defense confirmed earlier today. The incident, which took place in the early hours of 28 May in Techo Morakot village, reportedly began when Thai troops launched what Cambodian officials describe as an “unprovoked offensive” against a long-held Cambodian position in Choam Ksan district. The confrontation, which marks a rare flare-up in an otherwise peaceful border region, has prompted swift diplomatic responses from Phnom Penh. “This clash is not something Cambodia desires,” the ministry said in a statement. “We will continue discussions with the Thai Ministry of Defense to find a mutual solution… and prevent such incidents from occurring again.” Cambodia has reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful resolution of border issues, while also warning that it will defend its territorial sovereignty “at all costs”. The government is calling for calm as talks are expected to resume between the two nations’ defence officials. Officials have also urged the public to avoid spreading rumours or misinformation about the incident, particularly via social media. In a stern notice, the ministry warned that unverified reports could escalate tensions and harm the fragile peace in the region. The border area surrounding Preah Vihear has long been a site of dispute, though recent years have seen improved cooperation. Today’s violence is a stark reminder of the fragility of that peace. While the Thai government has yet to issue an official response, the coming days are likely to prove critical in determining whether this incident remains isolated—or marks the beginning of a deeper diplomatic rift. --2025-05-28 -

Crime Drunken American Throws Rock through Window in Pattaya Over E-Cigarette Dispute
Still obsessed with your own fantasies, Mike? I made a point about public accountability. You’re the one who keeps spinning it into something perverse, over and over, like it’s the only thing on your mind. It’s obvious you’re not here for a real discussion, just to sneer and project whatever is rattling around in that cluttered head of yours. So, either grow up… or run along, Tinkerbell. -
