It's been a constant criticism against the Social Democrats for over a decade just like TAWP says. The Swedish social model worked quite well for several decades, but finally couldn't take the pressure after the unwise devaluations and the economic overheating in the late eighties. It's been going downhill ever since, and subsequent changes have been made to readjust Sweden towards capitalism, althought some relics of the old model still remain and cause a bit of trouble. Your neocon ideas are not the answer to any kind of progress that most Swedish people want to see though, Boon Mee, rest assured of that.
