If members who I haven't met are interested to meet me as much as I am them, then that is flatering.

I am willing to try again for this weekend but fear a 'Boy who cried wolf' style boycott.

Seems to me some people may have gone out of their way for this self styled "Homecoming Hootenany" which, after all, does sound awfully like a "Welcome back Scampy" party.

So, perhaps next time put up a notice for a TV get-together rather than a "homecoming party" and then there won't be any hard feelings if you end up deciding not to come after all.

Scampy - well you make yourself an easy target, so you can't be surprised now can you?

I'm just my-(forum)-self.

A very small majority see me as a target, and if they are seeing me as a target then what does that tell you?

Are they in a playground mindset, or live-and-let-live mindset?

I rest that one then.

Now can anyone reading the first two pages see much interest or posted confirmation? ...Most of it is trolling and babble.

Yet I am still blamed for putting stuff first that should have been a priority anyway, and the fact that I hinted I wouldn't be going a few days before officially cancelling seems to have been overlooked... Anyone would think I just hadn't shown up.

There's still a fair amount up for it this Friday or Saturday, though weather I should make it public or not I don't know this time, there's too many square eyes critics out there with nothing better to do than remain sat and give me a bash here and there.
