Bose Speakers

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I use Bose speakers for my laptop but they are 110/120 volts, and the system has a subwoofer thus making it a bit heavy. I am moving to Thailand in the near future.

Clearly, there is no reason to ship the system to Thailand. My first question is can I purchase Bose speakers in either Bangkok or Pattaya? The second question is about the cost. Are Bose speakers much more expensive in Thailand than similar systems in the States? Note that I am only asking about small speakers for use with my laptop.

Ok, I know that there are other speakers that work well with laptops and if I can not get Bose I will be open to other system.

Bose are a pretty expensive option for a laptop,

more in the AV range. Perhaps you should post in the AV section?

To use in Thailand you will need a suitable 110/220V transformer

but that should be easily sourced in LOS.

Just watch that the power rating of the transformer is suitable for your set up.

I have Bose that i brought over from USA....just took them to shop and they changed power supply to thai specs and they work just fine....

Don't buy bose products here in Thailand. The price is ridiculous compared to USA and HK.

Sams club in usa sells bose for $69.. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=111931

these don't have sub woofer but frankly they are GREAT as they are...better than a SONY system i bought that does have the sub woofer.

These are easy to cary as not too big and as said just take to most any thai shop and they will change the electricity thing out for you for about 200 baht or less and you're all set. I have a set in thailand and a set in usa.

Best speakers i have ever owned and PLENTY powerful enough for average person....heck of a deal for 69 bucks...
