None Immigrant B From English Speaking Countries O

Featured Replies

I was talking to our Visa girl yesterday and she told me that there is a new plan to stop none immigrant B visas being issued in Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Lao. You will only be able to get them from English speaking countries – UK, US, Australia, New Zeeland. So if you forget your re-entry permit you have to go to one of those countries to get started again.

I am sure your visa girl is the cat's meow but "English speaking countries" only able to issue? I don't think so.

Now if you said home country or country of residence I would be more inclined to become a believer. But I have found there is often a lot of difference between proposals and implementation so will not be holding my breath. :o

I hope your right. Just thought I would pass it on.

I believe they have English as the official language in Nigeria - I can see my next visa run going there! :o

And most of us Europeans are <deleted>.... too according to that... :D

Cheers!

I asked about a Non Imm O visa for Thailand, here in Lebanon, and was told it could

only be issued to a foreigner who has "residence" here.

I am not sure if this is a new or old policy.
