Carlos,

Get a non immigrant visa in NZ. If you have problems obtaining one, our company will sponsor you if you are thinking of investing in Thailand.

If you have 3 million Baht to invest in a fixed deposit, government bonds or a condo, you can apply for an extension of stay based on investment.

Otherwise obtain a one year multi entry visa in NZ then look for a job/business in Thailand. If you find one, if 4 Thais are employed per work permit in the company and you are paid the minimum salary for your nationality. You can apply for an extension of stay based on business.

If not you simply do a visa run every 90 days with your one year multi entry visa and extend your work permit every 90 days. With this method you don't need the minimum salary for your nationality or employ 4 Thais.

If you have an extension of stay for 3 years in a row, you can apply for residence permit.

That is great thanks :o

I am looking for work more than a Business at this stage as

I wouldn't have enough money to Invest unfortunately.

So it sounds like the way to go then to try for a One Year Multi Entry Visa then.

Eitherwise is it difficult to renew or extend the Work Permit/Visa every 90 Days?

What is needed for that?

The fresh 90 day visa is automatic when you reenter Thailand on a one year multi entry visa. No matter how many times you go in and out.

The work permit extension is easy with a lawyers help. We do it for 1,600 Baht professional fees. In this case, you don't even have to go to the Labor Dept.

Are you saying you can obtain a work permit for an individual who does not already have a job? Or a company to sponsor him/her?
