30day Stamp

Hi all,

Just a quick question,

If I come to Thailand on 30day stamp and get job offer in BKK, get the required paperwork from employer to apply for the Non-Immigrant B class visa, can I just go to Penang or the nearest Thai Embassy outside of Thailand to apply? or do I have to leave Thailand and return to home country to apply?

You can apply anywhere outside of Thailand. Penang is a good bet.

You can go anywhere, some are better than others.

Penang was always a good bet, but they've recently tightened up on the paperwork required for a B.

KL still works fine though.

Ask here about your chosen option, apparently Manila is THE WORST, bugger it, I'm working there at the mo, hoped to renew my non-O.
