Surely you know only what is convenient for you. For what does not suit you, you continue to play 3 monkeys. -

Lexapro and other prescription drugs
He is asking about availability in the Philippines not in Thailand. OP, Lexapro is available but requires a prescription. Clonazepam (Clonopin but different brand names in Philpppines) and Zolpidem (Ambien but by diffferent brand names) are available but controlled drugs, needs special prescription etc and I do not know if any ordinary pharmacy will fill it or not. Lorazepam (Ativan) seems not available. -

Trump’s Campaign Against Harris Is Like Him: Old and Tired
I don't think there is anything he can say that will get him more voters. The idea is that he'll get a knee-jerk reaction that will drive them to their computers and send him $$$. He doesn't consider how it affects the Big Picture. One thing he can promise that will change the tide is universal basic income: everybody gets $1k (or more) per month. The punch line is he won't come through. Next week is Infrastructure Week. But as for Big Picture issues, there is the matter of dealing with his defeat. This voter fraud business dates back to the late 1990s as a GOP ploy, I believe around the time Dole was running against Clinton (I suspect GIngrich may have had a hand in its origins). The plan now, as proposed by Steve Bannon (who probably got it from someone else) is to have an avalanche of minor cases that bogs things down so bad the voting process is brought to a standstill and the election results will be in contention for a piece of eternity. Keep a close eye on Nevada and Arizona, those have been Steve's focal point, and branching out to the swing states. -

French Olympics - The Last Supper
The Koreans LOVE to wave those tiny flags of Korea, wherever they go. Therefore, how could anyone have confused them for anyone else. I detest flag wavers, though....so....if the announcer got them mixed up with their brothers to the north, then... No harm done. -

Funding / depositing THB from Thai bank account to certain trading platforms
Here are the fees for sending money internationally on the BBL site: https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Other-Services/Transfers/-/media/253a57cc639e46f0b9104cb1deda188c.ashx Thanks for the idea but I would like to avoid registering on different platforms in order to ask for their deposit account and then to check with the banks. Account registration and verification will be pain in the neck. -

Thai beauty queen sparks online drama over airline seat
"However, her ticket was for a standard business class seat on a Boeing 777-300ER, which does not feature Qsuite or Premium Economy seating as she had thought." So the standard business class "does not feature ... Premium Economy seating". Not much of a business class if it's below premium economy.- 1

Lexapro and other prescription drugs
I'm pretty sure that's just the kind of drugs that will not be OTC in Thailand. Antibiotics no problem, psychotropics no way unless you are medically connected. 40 years ago pharmacies in TH would sell you Captagon literally "over-the-counter". They would also show a pack of Temazepam for you to buy together with the Captagon as the two drugs made for a very euphoric combo. Those were the days. -

Olympics sabotage: French trains targeted in coordinated attack
'The Sun' stated that a far left group had claimed responsibility although that is yet to be confirmed. No one has any idea what particular cause the saboteurs were espousing so what was the point? The only thing these acts achieved was to inconvenience the public for no apparent reason. -

Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
Hungary wants to join Russia if you ask Orban , they should be kicked out of EU for good. Hungary’s nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Saturday that the European Union was sliding toward oblivion in a rambling anti-Western speech in which he warned of a new, Asia-oriented “world order” while throwing his support for Donald Trump’s U.S. presidential bid. “Europe has given up defending its own interests,” Orbán said in Baile Tusnad, a majority-ethnic Hungarian town in central Romania. “All Europe is doing today is following the U.S.’s pro-Democrat foreign policy unconditionally … even at the cost of self-destruction.” https://apnews.com/article/viktor-orban-hungary-romania-eu-3ea649669de75d13b0ba3585c0e83239#:~:text=“Europe has given up defending, cost of self-destruction.” -

Landlord refusing to do TM30 ?
In some cases, condo-management handles rentals for owners, and have the needed documents. This was done for for me, before - but I also paid my rent at the condo-office. If you have a separate agent (not condo-mgmt), this is less likely - but cannot hurt to ask. -

BREAKING NEWS 60-day visa exemptions are now unlimited at land borders
In the recent video, the MFA guy says the new policy for visa-exempt entry can be for purposes other than 'strictly tourism'. Primarily, he talked about the DTV, but did a rabbit-trail on the new 60-day exempt, also: As to how someone can "be a tourist" here beyond a certain time - why not? They could define a number of days, and publish it in the Gazette, if they wanted. Otherwise - not working, goes to beaches, etc (i.e. "spending money" into Thailand) There is nothing saying a tourist cannot pay taxes - as we all do, with VAT, all the time. I have not seen any law/rule in the Gazette on this. As well, there is no legal reason given to immigration to deny entry on "being a tourist too long" - only for illegal-working or otherwise engaged in illegal-activity, or not having the required 20K baht, hotel-booking, and flight-out within the stay-period. Thai immigration is restricted to very specific reasons for denial - in an attempt (futile, at some entry-points) to prevent graft / agent-scams to let people in.
