Hi All,

Just been on the phone to the Thai Embassy in London - Tel 020758929944 and was told that I cannot apply for the Non-Immigrant "O" Class visa unless I was married to a Thai citizen. I found no ###### evidence online that this visa is for that reason. According to the Thai Embassy in Hull on there PDF Document for Work Permit which states in the 3rd paragraph:

"If it is your intention to travel to Thailand to seek employment you will not be able to meet the requirements for a “B” visa. However, you can apply to this office for a Non-Immigrant Category “O” Visa, provided you can meet those requirements, and, if you obtain an offer of a job, you can apply for a Work Permit. In this situation you will not be able to commence employment until you have received your Work Permit. Accordingly, you would need to ensure you applied for a Multiple Entry (1 year) “O” visa as a Single Entry one would expire before you obtained your Work Permit and you would have to leave the country without

it."

Now I am going there on 25th Nov, to have a meeting with my girlfriends manager for an IT Magazine company and maybe being employed at some stage. However the Thai Embassy in ###### london said I have to have a Tourist Visa and cannot apply for the Non-Immigrant "O" Class. In moment, I am just gonna go there on a 30day stamp and will be useless and means I have to travel to Penage or somewhere to get a different Visa.

Help me please, asap... even call me to explain, I dont care, I need help now!

London will NOT give you a multiple entry. Forget that. Send your passport off the the Hull consulate instead and ask for a Multiple "O". You can use that one for work permit as well. No problems!
