just got back from laos i found a new falang run cafe called the i-lounge cafe run by dave a canadian

very good western food and cheap beer 10'000 kip for a large beer lao

how to find him you come out of the thai consulate turn left keep going till you pass bonn cafe

then at the crossroads turn right go 200 metres its on the left handside of the road

Been there twice 5 months apart and he is great need any info on Savannakhet and he will hook you up. Our hotel felt through on our 2nd visit and he got us a good deal with what we needed.

Prices are fair and farang food is good. First time in town this should be your first stop. I think he has a facebook page to gather info.
