Tethering Question

Returned to our home in Lumlukka to find phone line dead. I am using my Galaxy mini to post this. I would like to tether my Mini to my PC and I have a True Hispeed account but don't know what I need as hardware for the PC (bluetooth adaptor, cable, or??) and whether my True acct will support it. I would be most grateful if anyone can advise how to proceed. Thanks in advance for any help.

Does you mini have Gingerbread and does your computer have wifi? If so, then just go into Network and Wifi and turn on the Wifi Hotspot feature and connect to the internet via wifi through your mini.

Done, used USB cable to connect to PC, then identified network and good to go. Much simpler than I anticipated. PC is Ubuntu so I thought there might be an issue, but works great.
